New Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 18k 10 unit 75x106cm sheet format press machine has been installed in June and from August in production!
Speedmaster XL 106 is a new dimension in printing technology and breaks all the records in terms of productivity and printing quality.
During job changes, the innovative system supplies all the printing information optimizing the make ready. New software for shorter make ready times, less paper waste, and enhanced productivity. Fully automatic, simultaneous plate changes, short wash up times cut make ready times to an absolute minimum. A complete plate change takes up five minutes. A wall screen ensures ideal interaction between the Printer and press and provides a overview of all press operations and printing data.
An innovative air-supported sheet transfer system smoothly guides each sheet contact-free from the printing unit right through to the delivery on a cushion of air. The precise sheet transfer during the printing process and contact-free sheet travel are essential qualities in perfecting printing. The Preset Plus Delivery rounds off the printing process and creates the ideal conditions to fast and smooth finishing with individually adjustable delivery air system.
